Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation and refund terms apply to reservations at Marvista Resorts. Specific rates or promotional bookings may carry different terms which will be displayed at the time of booking and in your confirmation. Always refer to your booking confirmation for the exact policy that applies to your reservation.


Refundable Rates

For refundable rate plans:

  • Standard (Low Season): Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur a charge equal to one night's stay or the deposit amount stated at booking.
  • Peak / High Season: Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a charge equal to one or more nights depending on the rate rules shown at booking.
  • Long-stay / Special Packages: Cancellation windows and penalties for long-stay offers and packages are specified on the booking page and in your confirmation.

Non-Refundable / Prepaid Rates

Reservations booked under a non-refundable or prepaid rate are charged at the time of booking and are not eligible for refund in case of cancellation, modification, or no-show, except where required by applicable law. If you cancel or fail to arrive, the total amount paid will be retained by Marvista Resorts.

Deposits & Payment Requirements

Certain bookings may require a deposit to confirm the reservation. Typical deposit terms:

  • Standard bookings: 25% deposit at time of booking, remainder due at check-in (or as specified).
  • Peak dates, group bookings, or special events: higher deposits may be required (up to 50% or full prepayment), as stated on the booking page or group contract.

Modifications to Reservations

Modification requests (date changes, room type changes, guest name changes) are subject to availability and the rate rules that applied to the original booking:

  • For refundable rates: modifications are permitted free of charge if made before the cancellation deadline shown in your confirmation.
  • For non-refundable rates: changes may not be allowed or may incur fees; any changes are subject to availability and possible re-pricing.
  • Requests to modify should be submitted via the channel used for booking (website, OTA, or directly to the resort). Marvista Resorts will confirm acceptance of any modification in writing.

Early Checkout

Early departure does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund. Charges for early checkout depend on the rate conditions:

  • If you booked a flexible/refundable rate, partial refunds may be given at the resort’s discretion and in accordance with the specific rate rules.
  • If you booked a non-refundable or promotional rate, the full stay may be charged despite early departure.

No-Show Policy

Failure to arrive on the scheduled arrival date without prior notice will be treated as a no-show and charged according to the rate booked:

  • For most bookings the no-show fee equals the cost of the first night or the total amount paid for non-refundable bookings.
  • To avoid no-show charges, please notify Marvista Resorts promptly if your arrival will be delayed or cancelled.

Group Bookings & Events

Group reservations (usually multiple rooms or a block booking) and events are subject to separate terms and a signed group contract. Group terms typically include:

  • Custom deposit schedules and higher deposit percentages.
  • Specific cancellation deadlines and sliding scale penalties depending on proximity to arrival.
  • Liability for rooms not used if cancellation terms are not met.

Third-Party Bookings (OTAs, Travel Agents)

If your reservation was made through a third-party (online travel agency, travel agent, or reseller), the cancellation and modification policy of that third-party may apply in addition to Marvista Resorts’ terms. Please contact the booking provider for assistance or to request changes; Marvista Resorts may require written confirmation from the third-party.

Special Circumstances & Exceptional Events

In exceptional cases (government travel restrictions, declared emergencies, or events outside the control of Marvista Resorts) we may apply alternative cancellation terms or flexible policies. Such measures are assessed on a case-by-case basis and will be communicated on the website and to affected guests.

Refund Policy

Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original payment method. Refund approval follows the cancellation terms of the selected rate plan.

  • Refunds are typically issued within 7–14 business days after confirmation.
  • Bank processing times may vary depending on the provider.
  • Non-refundable bookings are not eligible for refunds.
  • Processing fees or currency conversion fees may be deducted by your bank or payment provider.
  • Refunds will be issued only to the person who made the original payment.

For cancellations made through third-party booking channels, refunds must be requested via the same platform.

How to Cancel or Modify

To cancel or modify a reservation, please use the method shown on your booking confirmation (online manage-booking link, OTA portal, or contact the resort directly). All cancellations or modifications are effective only when confirmed by Marvista Resorts in writing or via the booking platform.

Policy Changes

Marvista Resorts reserves the right to amend or update this Cancellation Policy at any time. The version published on the website at the time of booking will apply to that booking.
This policy is governed by the Terms & Conditions of Marvista Resorts.
